What to expect

Visiting for the First Time?

We look forward to meeting you at Sovereign Grace Chapel and hope you may find answers to some of your questions here.

Is there anything for my children?

Our Children’s Nursery is available to parents of infants and young toddler aged children during the service. This is currently not staffed and parents must stay with their children.

Sunday School and Nursery will be offered during the Adult Sunday School session at 9:30am which will begin in Fall 2026.  Our Sunday School classes offer excellent Bible teaching and discussion for children ages 3 through middle school.

For more information regarding these groups see our ministriespage.

What time and how long are your services?

Our Sunday service starts at 11:00AM at 23 Golf Street in Southbridge. The service usually lasts for about an hour and 15 minutes with fellowship time encouraged afterwards.

What happens on a typical Sunday?

Our Sunday mornings are a wonderful time of worship, learning, and fellowship. The worship music is led by a small team of musicians and singers who use a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian songs to lead in praise and worship. We enjoy times of prayer, the reading of God's Word and the expository preaching of the gospel by our pastor, other elders, or occasionally by another gifted teacher. Please feel free to humbly express yourself in worship by lifting your hands or clapping if you feel led to do so.

How should I dress?

Sovereign Grace Chapel is a church with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. Having no cultural or economic standards to which we conform, you will be welcomed whether you dress casually or formally.
