Sovereign Grace Chapel is an independent, local evangelical church serving central Massachusetts.
God has been pleased to open to our local church the opportunity to move into an 1843 Methodist Church building, which at one time was in fellowship with a Calvinistic Methodist Church a few towns away that bears the name of Whitefield Methodist Church. Our new location will be on 449 Main Sreet in Southbridge, right around the corner from where we've been for 12 years.
Believe it or not, it has bells that ring hymns from the steeple and even a motorized seat to transport handicap people up to the sanctuary. The sanctuary has stained glass windows, seats over 300 people and a pipe organ to boot.
If you can't join us this Sunday, please remember us in your prayers that God would use us to impact the town of Southbridge with the great gospel of His marvelous grace.
Pastor Gary and Michelle
Gary's style of preaching is expositional, reformed in soteriology and New Covenant in theology. Pastoral compassion with his flock and working collaboratively with his co-elder/pastors is also a high priority. Gary and Michell were married in 1977 have 5 children and reside in Leicester, Ma.
Youth Group
God Almighty has blessed our Youth leaders with desire, passion, and an opportunity to show forth the Love of God to youth. We do crazy things and have great fun while seeking to show each and every youth what it is to serve the living God in word and deed.
