He did itinerant preaching among various Brethren Assemblies throughout Canada and the Northeast.

Gary began 'Open Air Evangelism' with a permit from the city on the
Worcester Common in 1982 till 2005. He also taught and preached in
prisons, nursing homes, apologetic ministries and overseas. Gary
attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary from '86-'87 and began
pastoring Sovereign Grace Chapel in Southbridge, Ma. in 1992, which was
formerly called Grace Reformed Baptist Church -which started in 1991 in
Charlton Ma.
Gary's style of preaching is expositional, reformed in soteriology and
New Covenant in theology, with strong emphasis on scripture memorizing
(Gary has memorized over 3,000 verses). Pastoral compassion with his
flock and working collaboratively with his co-elder/pastors is also a
high priority. Gary has been living in Leicester, Ma since
1987.

An Evangelical’s Creed - from Pastor Gary George
I
believe in the
one true and living God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit: equal in substance and in power. He is the eternal creator
and sustainer of all things visible and invisible, and he is the one by
whom all humankind will be judged at Jesus’ future second
coming.
I believe that in the fullness of time, the Father sent the Son to
redeem a people he had chosen before time began. The sacrifice of
Christ on the cross satisfied God’s holy justice; by his shed
blood he atoned for all my sins and saved me from eternal, conscious
punishment in Hell and in the lake of fire.
I believe that God used his infallible, inerrant, and inspired
Scriptures, accompanied by the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit, to
awaken me from my spiritual deadness, which from birth to my new birth
characterized me and kept me alienated from my maker. I believe that
the gospel of God’s grace is to be proclaimed freely to all
people without distinction.
I believe that my salvation is not attributable to my prayer, my works,
my will, my baptism, or to any other religious endeavor, but is through
faith alone, in Christ alone, by grace alone, and to the glory of God
alone. By the Holy Spirit’s working in me, and by my
consequent
growth in grace, I will persevere to the end of my earthly journey. I
have assurance that heaven will be my eternal home and that my union
with Christ, my Lord and my head, will never be broken in time or
eternity.
